(openPR) - INDIANA – July 11, 2008 - In an effort to deliver industry-leading eRecording services to their mutual customers, Utah-based Simplifile, LC and Indiana-based Computer Systems, Inc. (CSI) today announced that they have formed a strategic alliance for the purpose of integrating and cooperatively marketing Simplifile’s eRecording and CSI’s Title 1 land record system.
The alliance calls for the two companies to integrate their respective eRecording and indexing and archiving systems, allowing documents electronically filed by Simplifile “submitter” customers such as title companies, law offices and banks to be received, reviewed, recorded and returned to those same submitters by counties utilizing CSI’s Title 1 system. The accord also provides for Simplifile and CSI to cooperatively market the alliance and resulting services to their mutual customers, including Simplifile submitters and Title 1-enabled counties in Indiana.
“Simplifile is pleased to structure an eRecording alliance with CSI,” said Paul Clifford, President of Simplifile. “Our relationship with CSI is further evidence that Simplifile is building the nation’s foremost eRecording network for the real estate industry. Our approach to building that network is to partner with trusted records management vendors like CSI that serve the nation’s recording jurisdictions. Partnering with CSI enables Simplifile to provide the many advantages of automated recording workflow—including increased productivity, security and profitability—to CSI-enabled counties and the submitters they serve.”
“CSI is very proud to be able to partner with Simplifile,” said Kevin Cook, President of CSI. “Since 1975, CSI has been the market leader for comprehensive and innovative turnkey solutions for county government and Recorders. CSI has extensive knowledge and experience in developing solutions using leading technologies like Simplifile’s eRecording solution. Our partnership with Simplifile is one more example of our strong commitment to our customers and those who interact with our customers.”
More than a trend in land record document submission—eRecording is a government priority at federal, state and county levels across the country. eRecording is the process of submitting, receiving, and processing, via a secure Internet site, documents for recording that have traditionally been delivered to the county for recording by runner, express mail, or courier service. eRecording offers thousands of submitters nationwide filing documents into eRecording-enabled counties the ability to simplify, accelerate and enhance all aspects of the recording process.
Individuals and organizations that do business with Simplifile and CSI can contact the two companies directly for information on how they can benefit from this strategic alliance.
