It is available to purchase on www.amazon.de or as a download form the Itunes shop. A special new edition of earthgrooves one has also been released.
The laid back cool mix of earthgrooves has been a huge hit with users of earthtv.com with volume 1 soaring to number 3 in the Amazon charts. Since the original release five years ago Hamm and Bertoni have been writing for movies and record companies around the world. Wherever they went they met, hung out & jammed with resident musicians which proved an inspirational experience that forged their concept of earthgrooves Vol 2 – the sound of earthTV.
The magical qualities of both earthgroove albums are based in the free spirit of earth televisions relaxed approach to the commissioning process and Hamm and Bertoni’s ability to create the fresh and the new. They say that ‘free from any commercial considerations we developed a new kind of research project to find out what contemporary instrumental music could sound like. We based the production on the symbiosis of many different musical influences and cultures. On this musical journey we took roads that sometimes led to places we hadn’t even dreamed of before.”
More than 100 musicians from all over the world were involved in earthgrooves Vol 2. They come from Australia, The Ukraine, Sweden, Morocco, Cuba, Tunisa, New Caledonia, the USA and many more countries.
