This version brings considerable changes compared to the last version, adding:
• Introduce the MouseCoding, based on an artificial intelligence autonomous library, allowing the designer to do not code a line of script: High Development Level, the artificial intelligence service for the interactivity and the simplicity of production, entirely configurable in few clicks,
• A Terrain Editor, allowing anyone to carry out creative environment with details, compatible with the Geographic Information System formats of the NASA and the IGN,
• An objects animations editor, allowing the user to accelerate the production of interactive contents and to simplify their implementation,
• The lightmap compiler was re-implemented, bringing stability, performance and quality,
• The engine deal with new controllers like the microphone input and the Nintendo Wiimote,
• The user interface is increasingly more ergonomic, skinnable and facilitating the team work.
With the launch of ShiVa 1.6, StoneTrip updates the site www.stonetrip.com and the Community site developer.stonetrip.com by adding to it a great number of tutorials; some are videos, and also the site stdn.stonetrip.com proposing a clear and advanced documentation for this software..
To remind everyone the software possibilities, ShiVa is the only tool able to produce 3D real time applications immediately displayable on PCs, MACs, PDA, mobile telephone (smartphone, iPhone), soon video game consoles and Linux.
The contents thus created are available on line through all navigators on any operating system.
The multi platforms render engine STON3D which allows this accessibility is also able to exchange information with applications servers and data bases, like connecting itself to the STON3D server, offering a multi users experience.
