Christian Fabi new Chief Executive Officer at RAMPF Automation

Neumarkt a.W., 26.06.2008 – As of the 1st of July, 2008 Christian Fabi will take over the role of Chief Executive Officer at RAMPF Automation in Neumarkt, Austria. The 43 year old will report directly to the managing partners of the RAMPF-Gruppe, Michael and Mat-thias Rampf.

Christian Fabi will take over from the previous Chief Executive Officer Bernd Faller. Faller has been the CEO of RAMPF Dosiertechnik since 2003 (located in Zimmern o.R., Ger-many) who temporarily inherited the role after the integration of M&B Sondermaschinen und Förderlagen GmbH into the RAMPF-Gruppe. The replacement is part of a long term, growth orientated company strategy.

Chirstian Fabi comes from Vienna. After his studies as a Chemical Engineer, he collected professional experiences in the branches of marketing, key-account management and product management. For well known, international companies in the chemical, logistics as well as conveyor technique industry Fabi unlocked the new market potential in Austria and Switzerland. Most recently the engineer was the product manager of Schaller Lebensmitteltechnologie GmbH in Vienna and as such responsible for market entry and logistics in Russia.
In his role as the Chief Executive Officer of the RAMPF Automation GmbH, who specializes in conveying systems, Fabi will firstly concentrate strongly on the sales. “I would like to achieve a healthy double-digit growth rate for RAMPF Automation. Through my collaboration in organizations I am able to build up a network which will be surely very helpful in my work”, confidently says the new CEO. Fabi is deemed to be proved adept in the logistics and conveyor technology branch’s.

RAMPF Automation GmbH, Neumarkt (Austria), has become a valuable addition to the international RAMPF group since the year 2006. The product portfolio covers complete plant systems in the field of automation and conveyor engineering. These include con-veyor systems of the most diverse designs, helical conveyors, carrier systems for special work pieces, rotating storage systems, CNC portals or robot gripper arms - simply every-thing that automates production sequences. The centre of focus is serial production in the automobile, electrical, metal and wood industries.
