For immediate release. The Professional Kiteboard Riders Association (PKRA), the world’s foremost authority on kiteboarding and home to the best and extreme kiteboarding athletes is joining forces with Eurosport, Europe’s leading extreme sports channel.

Eurosport will be broadcasting the PKRA events in Mexico on the 11th of July at 23:30 CEST and France on the 18th of July at 23:00 CEST under its Youth Only Zone (YOZ) brand. YOZ is Eurosport’s extreme sports series aired every Friday evening with more than 5 million viewers, covering action from skating, snowboarding, surfing, BMX, skateboarding, kiteboarding, and other extreme sports around the globe. There are detailed reports, interviews and news plus the latest highlights from the world of extreme games.

The PKRA event in Mexico is the first stop of the 2008 PKRA World Tour where some of the best international kiteboarding athletes converged and competed in course racing and freestyle competitions. The event in France is the second venue of the World Tour which was held last April and coincided with the famous Mondial Du Vent, the oldest ongoing kiteboarding event in the world where a record-braking crowd witnessed all the best riders in the world took part in a week of non-stop kiteboarding action.

The airing of the Mexico and France competitions of the 2008 PKRA World Tour by Eurosport YOZ solidifies the Association’s foothold as having the best kiteboarding events in the world. This will enable millions of household viewers and extreme sports fanatics in Europe to witness extreme kiteboarding action as only the PKRA can deliver.
