(openPR) - More than 100 conferences congresses and symposia were added in 2 months from 30 countries on all categories within the last months and different search routines are supporting the people to find their event.
This missing piece of the puzzle is provided on Symposia 24 websites to allow individuals and organisations offering or searching for conferences, congresses, symposia and conventions, to find and present innovative ideas.
The portal offers according to the conference life-cycle, free of charge, the opportunity to all organizations and event teams to place the call for paper or call for tutorial on the website; along with the ability to find presenters for the planned conference. After finalizing the program the conference alert and announcement can also be placed on the web sites for free.
This service is extended for conference teams in a first step. A conference groupware and management tool can be booked to share information and to manage the event itself. The groupware is a platform which provides several functions like a calendar, document archive, to do list, notes, chat function and the ability to mange sub-projects like Marketing, technical program, sponsoring or other breakdown on the individual need of the team. In the near future a review tool will be available to support the teams to down select the paper for the conference as well.
Interested individuals looking for events can search, without time constraints, on the portal. Sorted according to categories, for example Medical, Engineering, Electronics, Research, Education or Interpersonal, identification of a specific topic is quick and easy.

The idea was born to provide the service at that time as Sven-Olaf Schulze, one of the founders of Symposia24, tried to place a call for paper on a web site. No independent site was available to put the call for paper or limitations were given. With Thomas Eilers, the expert for web design, he founded on 1 January 2008 Symposia24 to fill the gap and provide an independent full life-cycle conference service.
