(openPR) - VAG-Armaturen GmbH has recently become a member of the newly established consultation and contact institution for international enquiries according to the supply range of the German water industry.
In April this year, the association German Water Partnership (GWP) was founded. Since then, the association has been working intensively on the marketing of its umbrella brand. The association’s first presentation to the public took place at the IFAT trade fair in Munich held in May 2008. As the foundation of German Water Partnership was widely covered by the media and as the logo was revealed at the stand by Minister Gabriel the association was able to make itself known to many companies and people in the industry. The great interest German Water Partnership met with during the IFAT confirms to its founders that the initiative was a necessity.
The original reason for founding this association was the fact that previously there had been no central place of contact for water supply issues in Germany.
The GWP’s targets are primarily to strengthen the competitive position of the German water industry in international markets (with cross-linking of business, science and politics), to make a contribution to water industry issues on the global market as well as to make use of the umbrella brand “Member of German Water Partnership” in joint presentations of the German water industry.
In order to work out the association’s targets, strategies and methods in international markets, its meanwhile over 130 members will soon get together to hold their first annual conference.
