This year at NAB 2008 exhibition, hold in Las Vegas, ENENSYS showcases a ground-breaking live demo of its Mobile TV H264 transcoder product, TransCaster, with the capability to statistically encode several channels from a rack of transcoders. ENENSYS also announces and demonstrate a high density video over IP gateway, able to adapt up to 8 compressed audio video streams into/from IP network, featuring data protection and preservation of SFN networks over IP distribution networks.
Analogue Switch off in the US: mastering migration
For cable operators needing to secure content delivery to customers, live demos will be hold around the release of Digital Cable network monitoring probe designed for monitoring the performance and quality throughout the Digital Cable network: CastXplorer. 100%-FPGA core based, ENENSYS cable probe is a highly robust product with ideal fit for installation in critical environments such as street cabinets. Compliant with all three annexes of the standard (ITU-J83), CastXplorer-C is the only reference on the market fitting for all areas in the World, from Europe to North America through Asia.
As regards ATSC terrestrial broadcast, ENENSYS shows up its ASI to SMPTE310 interface aiming at format conversion while preserving SFN. MatchX ATSC-SFN is the only reference on the market able to accompany a migration from MFN to SFN in ATSC digital transmission.
Open Standards to Drive Innovation, Decrease Costs and Secure Quality of Delivery
ENENSYS products are standard agnostic, and take benefits from its technology advance. ENENSYS announces the SFNguard mechanism that secures a SFN adaptation at Head End side by synchonizing two SFN adapters in 1+1 redundancy configuration. The patent pending mechanism ensures that transmitters will keep synchronized when one or the other SFN adapter falls down. Without that unique SFNguard securing solution, resynchronizing after loss of SFN at transmitters side takes seconds to get video back to screen. SFNguard is available on DVB-T, DVB-H and DTMB (Chinese DTTV) SFN adapters.

ENENSYS has announced that it has supplied its T2 Gateway and NetMod modulator to KBS for use in their Ultra High Definition project. KBS is broadcasting one DVB-T2 6Mhz channel from their Kwanak transmitter site in Seoul, carrying a 4K UHDTV service at 36.5Mbps.
