Paul Butler, Regional Sales Director UK and Ireland for AOC and MMC

• One of the largest sales organisations for monitors in the United Kingdom and Ireland is created - synergy effects and specialised contacts optimise communication for customers: Only one single point of contact with more time for customer-specific requirements.
• Wide product portfolio of the two monitor specialists AOC and Philips offers the perfect solution for every requirement.
• Paul Butler is the Regional Sales Director of the new organisation

Amsterdam, 21 December 2016 – The activities of MMD, exclusive license partner for Philips branded monitors and AOC, another subsidiary of the world's leading monitor manufacturer TPV, are managed by Paul Butler (54) in the United Kingdom and Ireland, reporting directly to the European Headquarters in Amsterdam. The Regional Sales Director has been responsible for sales and marketing for both brands in the UK and Ireland since January 2012 – but up until now with the sales activities of AOC and Philips monitors largely independent of each other.

"The market in the UK and Ireland has grown significantly over the past quarters and is therefore of great importance for our two brands, AOC and Philips. Now it is time to create structures that allow us even more to take advantage of synergy effects in the interest of our customers," says Thomas Schade, Vice President Europe of AOC and MMD. "In other European markets, we have already bundled activities, and our customers benefit from simplified processes and an increased specialisation to meet distinct requirements of the individual sales channels. We are convinced that a joint organisation will also bring many benefits to our customers in the UK and Ireland and form the basis for further growth."

Paul Butler, who has held the post of Regional Sales Director UK and Ireland for AOC and MMC for many years, adds: “The challenge of managing two strong brands of monitors in the UK market is now being met full-on with the changing of our team to each member handling both brands of AOC and Philips. The expertise of the team in the key areas of Retail, Online and Key Business resellers will now be dedicated for each of our channel customers to maximise sales for both brands into the UK and Irish market. Customers across the board have welcomed the move and we are looking forward to the next level of achievements with continued growth in volume, revenue and market share.”

Paul Butler will be supported by Nathan Blank who will full fulfil the role of Senior Channel Manager who has been with AOC since April 2012. New arrival is Key Account Manager, Mano Parmar, who is bringing his experience from key B2B players such as Insight and BT into the team. Simon Fuller who has been with the MMD team since April 2013 as Key account Manager complete the line-up.

For Paul Butler public tenders will be one of the important components of the future orientation of the regional organisation in the UK and Ireland. Especially in this area, important sales are generated for the customers of AOC and Philips. "For example with the Philips USB docking monitors or the new range of B2B monitors with a retractable webcam, we have exactly the right solutions for the requirements of these customers."
