Mobile Phone Integration in Panasonic Telephone Systems
Panasonic and Speech Design partner on Fixed-Mobile-ConvergenceBoth companies announce their close future cooperation. Speech Design technology enables Panasonic to integrate mobile handsets with its ISDN and VoIP business communication systems. With Panasonic, Speech Design has won the third global PBX manufacturer for its convergence solution.
The mobile integration platform is Speech Design´s Teleserver Mobile Pro, now available for the KX-TDA telephone system family from Panasonic. ”This partnership enables our customers to seamlessly communicate between the fixed and mobile networks, improving corporate availability and communications” says Mr. Wessel, General Manager Germany/Austria PBX Business Unit Europe at Panasonic. Panasonic will demonstrate the interoperability of both systems at this year´s CeBIT (Hall 26, Booth B40).
Teleserver Mobile Pro integrates any mobile phone as a normal extension into the corporate network. All office calls can be received or initiated on the employee´s fixed, mobile or IP phone, always using the corporate fixed-line extension number. Convenient office PBX features, such as call forward, alternate, conference, hold, extension-dialling, etc., are now available on the mobile phone. All mobile-initiated business calls are routed via the fixed-line network. Users have only one mailbox for all voice messages. The messages can be retrieved via the office phone, the mobile or on any PC with access to the user´s e-mail account.
