Jewelry Designer Carl Blackburn Creates Colorful Accents for 2008 Spring Fashion Collections

Providing a dazzling blue accent to this year’s Spring frocks is California jewelry designer Carl Blackburn. Among the highlights of Blackburn’s 2008 collection are diamond cocktail earrings handcrafted in 18k white gold and overflowing with 10.00 carats of aquamarine; Egyptian-inspired diamond earrings in 18k white gold with blue sapphires; an art-deco style pendant set dramatically with a 20+ carat blue topaz; and Blackburn’s signature “Garden of Eden” earrings, featuring 8 one carat aquamarine drops. “I love working with these blue gemstones,” says Blackburn. “They blend perfectly with diamonds to provide a lovely finish to fashion ensembles of any color, in any season.”
