WHAT: On Saturday, March 12th, 2016 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM, The Wine ConneXtion, located in North Andover, MA, will show guests, sip-by-sip and bottle-by-bottle, that Spanish wines deserve a place on their shelves and in their glasses during its complimentary tasting “Exploring Spain.”

Grapes are currently the third biggest crop in Spain and because of its primarily dry climate, Spain is right behind France and Italy in its wine production quantities. Spain’s new approach of producing lower yields and higher quality grapes has paid off and the proof is in the glass! These wines, which are naturally free from pesticides and sulfites will sweep guests off their feet as they discover that Spanish wines are comparable to French and Italian wines.

At this special tasting the experts at The Wine ConneXtion will leads guests on a tour of Spain’s wine regions and unique varietals like Tempranillo, Garnacha & Monastrell and fall in love them the way they love Cabernet, Chardonnay and Merlot. After tasting all that Spanish vines have to offer, guests will wonder why they haven’t journeyed to this ever expanding section of the store before.

Exploring Spain is part of The Wine ConneXtion’s weekly Saturday tasting series and reflects its willingness to educate customers and offer specialized prices in a fuss-free environment.
