In His New Climate Encyclical, Laudate Deum, Pope Francis Calls

"And all the world wondered after the beast." Revelation 13:3.

The papacy's dream of global supremacy has just been codified in the latest climate encyclical. On October 4, 2023, Pope Francis released his second climate encyclical, Laudate Deum, in which he reiterates the coming destruction of the world unless drastic measures are taken immediately. [1] In it, the Pope sets the agenda for how climate policies can be enforced in our society. He laments the failures of the previous climate change COP conferences and calls on COP 28, which is slated to start in November of this year, to have the courage and make changes that are "drastic" and "intense" and that will require the "commitment of all." The Pope also specifically mentioned the United States when calling for "indispensable political decisions."

A Single Global Political Order

Pope Francis reiterated once again the need to implement a single political authority or system that would have jurisdiction and authority over the entire planet, encompassing all countries and nations. This concept envisions a centralized form of governance that will have an authority that would supersede existing national governments. The Pope said:

• "When we talk about the possibility of some form of world authority regulated by law, we need not necessarily think of a personal authority". We are speaking above all of "more effective world organizations, equipped with the power to provide for the global common good, the elimination of hunger and poverty and the sure defense of fundamental human rights". The issue is that they must be endowed with real authority, in such a way as to "provide for" the attainment of certain essential goals. In this way, there could come about a multilateralism that is not dependent on changing political conditions or the interests of a certain few, and possesses a stable efficacy." (Laudate Deum #35)

• "I invite you to recognize that many groups and organizations within civil society help to compensate for the shortcomings of the international community, its lack of coordination in complex situations, and its lack of attention to fundamental human rights." (Laudate Deum #37).

• "Unless citizens control political power - national, regional and municipal - it will not be possible to control damage to the environment". (Laudate Deum #38).

• "Our world has become so multipolar and at the same time so complex that a different framework for effective cooperation is required. (Ldaudate Deum #42).

• "All this presupposes the development of a new procedure for decision-making and legitimizing those decisions, since the one put in place several decades ago is not sufficient nor does it appear effective. In this framework, there would necessarily be required spaces for conversation, consultation, arbitration, conflict resolution and supervision, and, in the end, a sort of increased "democratization" in the global context, so that the various situations can be expressed and included." (Laudate Deum #43).

• "Today we can continue to state that, "the accords (COPs) have been poorly implemented, due to lack of suitable mechanisms for oversight, periodic review and penalties in cases of noncompliance. The principles which they proclaimed still await an efficient and flexible means of practical implementation". (Laudate Deum #52).

Attacking Climate Change Deniers

In Laudate Deum sections 6-8, Pope Francis attacks climate change deniers. He singles out those who chose to "deride" the "facts" about the climate crisis. He says those who resist the reality of the climate apocalypse "lack information" and are bringing "confusion." This seems to indicate that unless you accept the climate narrative, you will be targeted as part of the problem in the coming single global political authority.

Out of Chaos, Order

Pope Francis also used previous catastrophes to highlight the need to act on climate change. In Section #36, he referenced the Covid-19 pandemic and the 2008 banking crisis to reiterate the need to get everyone on board with his climate message. In other words, he is using crises to prompt people and governments to implement global changes. Pope Francis is expressing the idea that, from disorder and chaos, a new global order can emerge. They create a crisis and then offer their solution. And without doubt, Pope Francis is using the banking crisis, the Covid crisis, and the climate crisis to push globalism.

The Failures of the Climate Conferences (COP)

In Laudate Deus, Pope Francis praises the efforts of the United Nations Climate Change Conferences (COP), but then highlights the failure of anything concrete being done. The reason he gives for the inaction of the COP conferences is due to the fact that there are no "suitable mechanisms for oversight" to impose "penalties in cases of noncompliance" (Section #52). The Pope then went on to express hope that "international politics" will prevail during COP 28, which will begin on November 30, 2023.

• "If we are confident in the capacity of human beings to transcend their petty interests and to think in bigger terms, we can keep hoping that COP28 will allow for a decisive acceleration of energy transition, with effective commitments subject to ongoing monitoring." (Laudate Deum #54).

• "If there is sincere interest in making COP28 a historic event that honours and ennobles us as human beings, then one can only hope for binding forms of energy transition that meet three conditions: that they be efficient, obligatory and readily monitored. This, in order to achieve the beginning of a new process marked by three requirements: that it be drastic, intense and count on the commitment of all. That is not what has happened so far, and only a process of this sort can enable international politics to recover its credibility. levels and to prevent even greater evils over time." (Laudate Deum #59).

Pope: The United States Must Change

It is very interesting to note that Pope Francis made specific reference to the Second Beast in Revelation 13 in his encyclical. He basically said that the United States of America should be our starting point in the war against climate change. According to Pope Francis, America is the biggest contributor to the climate crisis, so it needs to make changes and set an example for the world.

• "If we consider that emissions per individual in the United States are about two times greater than those of individuals living in China, and about seven times greater than the average of the poorest countries, we can state that a broad change in the irresponsible lifestyle connected with the Western model would have a significant long-term impact. As a result, along with indispensable political decisions, we would be making progress along the way to genuine care for one another." (Laudate Deum #72).

Truly, the whole world is wondering after the beast! That is precisely what we are seeing today. The prophecies of Revelation Chapters 13, 17, and 18 are taking shape, and this should make us aware of the signs of the times. The end is near. Prophecy warns us that when we see the great religious bodies uniting and when Rome and the United States begin to align themselves together to implement global policies, this act will precede the final conflict in the great controversy. In this conflict, God's people cannot be neutral or ecumenical. Our message is even more necessary today than in the past. In fact, the closer we get to the end of time, the more spiritually significant the Third Angels' Message becomes.
