Elizabeth Campbell Named to the Executive Women's Partnership Committee of the Greater Houston Partnership

HOUSTON – Andrews Kurth Partner and Chief Diversity Officer, Elizabeth A. Campbell, has been named to the Executive Women's Partnership Committee of the Greater Houston Partnership. The Committee works with the organization’s executive team to craft the strategies and policies that shape Houston’s future. The group is comprised of more than 70 members from the region’s leading energy companies, financial institutions, health care providers, professional service firms and other corporate entities.

“Participation on the Executive Women's Partnership presents an outstanding opportunity for me to learn more about the area’s resources and needs,” said Campbell. “I also hope to contribute my insights based upon my experience working with businesses to help them accomplish their strategic goals, especially in the area of diversity and inclusion.”

Campbell has more than 25 years of experience in administrative and employment litigation both in law firm and in-house counsel settings and has led human resources, employment relations and diversity strategies at large corporations. Before joining Andrews Kurth in February 2007, Campbell served as Vice President of Employment Relations and Corporate Diversity Officer for the ARAMARK Corporation in Philadelphia.

“The Greater Houston Partnership applauds the selection of Elizabeth Campbell to serve on our Executive Women’s Partnership Committee,” said Susan Asimakis, senior vice president of Member Services for the Partnership. “Elizabeth will be a tremendous asset to the committee, whose mission it is to provide the senior executive women of our region with the opportunity to address business issues and interests. The committee also is a great conduit for the leaders of today and tomorrow to learn from each other and exchange ideas that will positively impact the region’s future economic prosperity.”

As Chief Diversity Officer, Campbell devotes her efforts full time to overseeing the diversity and inclusion strategies of Andrews Kurth. She earned her law degree in 1978 from The University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and her B.A. in 1975 from The American University in Washington, D.C.
