Cuculus awarded large scale smart metering contract in Austria
Ericsson, the global ICT provider and system integrator, has awarded the contract to Cuculus. Under the contract Cuculus will deliver and install its combined Advanced Meter Management (AMM) & Meter Data Management (MDM) solution for 470,000 metering points for an Austrian client.
Cuculus‘ ZONOS™ platform is the core component of the smart metering solution. It includes a key management system (KMS) to warrant secure communication of the involved systems and smart meter components.
A key objective is to enable seamless integration with the customer’s existing system landscape. Cuculus’ solution ensures compliance with Austrian smart metering use cases, end-to-end security and performance in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
