08-18-2015 12:43 PM CET | Industry, Real Estate & Construction

Press release from: IKA®-Werke GmbH & Co. KG

Staufen/Frankfurt, June 16, 2015 –

The new IKA ® multi-position magnetic stirrers with heating from the RT series are ideal for applications that require simultaneous heating and stirring.

Series tests can be carried out under reproducible conditions, due to the stirring positions operated simultaneously.
The sealed and compact design makes the devices easy to clean and protects
against the penetration of liquids.

The RT series is available with 5, 10 and 15 stirring positions and can be used for stirring quantities of up to 6 liters.
The heating foil ensures an even temperature distribution on the heating plate, while the reversible direction of rotation ensures a homogenous mixing result.
The wear-free magnetic coils ensure smooth and quiet operation.
In addition to the new RT devices, IKA also offers multi-position magnetic stirrers without heating, the RO series.
These models are also available with 5, 10 and 15 stirring positions
and are suitable for stirring quantities of up to 6 liters.
