Telma Hopkins Promo On JazzJoyandRoy.com Still Saving Souls

For nearly 20 years, the supportive comments that actor Telma Hopkins made on a global inspirational radio show called Jazz Joy and Roy have been helping to save souls.

"One of the things you notice when you listen to Telma Hopkins speak on shows like 'Dead To Me' and 'Family Matters' is how beautifully her voice carries," said Jazz Joy and Roy Global Radio host Roy Gray, adding that there are astonishingly similar vocal qualities shared by Hopkins and his wife Kathy.

Gray says he and Kathy had just finished interviewing Hopkins at The Los Angeles Convention Center when Kathy heard Hopkins exclaim from the other side of the room, "Man, does (Roy) have a great voice or what!?"

Kathy urged Roy to ask the famous actor to repeat that comment into Roy's microphone. Hopkins agreed and even gave her permission for Jazz Joy and Roy to utilize the supportive comments on the show's promotional announcements. The gracious Hopkins even cut a celebrity drop for the program on which she identifies herself and says, "You're listening to Jazz Joy and Roy!"

Although Jazz Joy and Roy Global Radio has only recently returned to playing All Christian Music, All The Time, the venerable program has always inspired its listeners with varying quantities of Christian tunes.
