Sudden lockdowns, roadblocks, war and closed borders. The unimaginable continues to penetrate our everyday lives around the globe. Where yesterday there was a familiar highway exit, today there is suddenly a militia checkpoint. In this world one wishes more urgently than hardly anything else: to be an insignificant person from a small and insignificant country and to be allowed to pass through. This is possible. For you and your family, too.

The transnational but real Republic of Rhodesia is the only nation in the world that has the legal status to issue so-called protective citizenships (formerly called camouflage passports) instead of asylum. Not at all as a business, but quite lawfully. There are also no more than very modest administrative fees. Moreover, the protective citizenships are only granted to law-abiding people after verification.

Old and unsafe camouflage passports are a matter of the past thanks to new digital crypto technology. From naturalization certificates to passports, all Rhodesian IDs have been digital since 2022. Thanks to technology from a globally operating encryption company, every Rhodesian citizen can carry their papers either purely digitally or printed out - either way, they can be read anywhere in the world without the need for special software, just with a smartphone and a PIN.

There was a time in the 1980s when fake Rhodesian passports were sold by traders who shamelessly exploited the political transformation of the Republic of Rhodesia in the early part of that decade. All such fantasy passports were declared illegal by decree of the Rhodesian government in the summer of 2021. This as a friendly reminder to holders of such a document. Possession of a genuine Rhodesian citizenship, and therefore the corresponding crypto documents, however, is legal under Rhodesian law.

Questions about the possibilities, limits and formalities of a protective citizenship according to Rhodesian law and the related opportunities will be gladly answered by the Rhodesian Department of Homeland Security, Division IV - Office for Citizenship Affairs.

The Republic of Rhodesia (2nd republic) was proclaimed in March 1980 with the Declaration of Amsterdam by Rhodesians who did not want to live in Zimbabwe to which their country was about to be transformed. Based on a conservative constitution (1980), the Rhodesian governments have since been taking care of the Rhodesian diaspora, settlements and autonomous areas as a transglobal nation with overseas territories as harbors of security in times of crisis.

Due to the strong demand for naturalization into the Republic of Rhodesia, the government of the country, which has been transnational since 1980 (read the history at www.government-of-rhodesia.org), has ordered its corresponding agencies to work seven days a week in a three-shift system. Because Rhodesian camouflage passports have long been available for illegal purchase by racketeers, the new conservative Rhodesian government under Prime Minister Mathilda Born has further eased access to Rhodesian Class-B (free of charge) protection passports in an attempt to drain the swamp of trading counterfeit passports.
