up the volume of their purchases. And in Australia, export prices on chickpeas, faba beans, lentils and mung beans
jumped by $50 - $150 as international buyers look to bolster their inventories.
It is a phenomenon that has gripped Central America as well, a region that is one of the world's leading dry bean
markets.
