(openPR) - LARGO, FLORIDA: Kramski North America, Inc. (www.kramski.com) is well underway with moving equipment into their new 35,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, expanding from the 15,000 sq ft plant that was established less than five years ago. In addition to continued growth and an increasing customer base for precision metal stampings, Kramski has secured new business for production of critical insert-molded components for the automotive electronics industry. Two fully automated workcells are currently in development which will encompass stamping, overmolding, optical inspection, and packaging by utilizing the latest technology in linear feeding, robotics, and vision systems. The move will be completed by mid-August, with the first insert-molding line beginning production by mid-September.
New equipment includes injection molding machines by Arburg and Engel, robotics by Motoman, a wide range of auxiliary equipment, stamping dies developed by Kramski GmbH (Pforzheim, Germany), and injection molds developed by Kramski’s sister company in Sri Lanka. Key lead people are already in place to support the molding operations, and Kramski has plans to further increase its workforce over the next few months to support 24 hour per day manufacturing in order to meet volume demand for the newly booked business along with expected growth in the medical disposables and electronics industries.
