P&D Marine Group agree to partnership with Excel Boats

P&D Marine Group has today announced the strategic partnership with Excel Boats. The partnership sees Excel Boats utilising P&D Marine Group's European network and for P&D Trailers - part of the P&D Marine Group - an important partner to widen the availability of their road trailers.

P&D Marine Group CEO, Simon Nadin commented: 'We are delighted to announce the partnership with Excel Boats. P&D Marine Group has focused on a strategy of growing the business through investment in new products and services in our retail divisions of P&D Trailers and P&D Boats. We extend this across our commercial businesses, Pontoon and Dock, P&D Environmental, P&D Marine Services, and Multi-Mover UK. Our aim is to offer solutions, to be a one stop shop for our clients' needs, and the partnership with Excel Boats absolutely fits in to that strategy.'

The partnership comes on the back of the start in production of the Sea Hunter Viper and the Predator 165 which is being developed out of their Kirkham, Blackpool site. P&D Boats has rapidly expanded onto the retail boat market having launched last year at the Southampton International Boat Show.

Terry Wright of Excel Boats added, 'I am very pleased to have reached an agreement with P&D Marine Group as I believe they are ideally placed to take the Excel Boats brand into the European markets. I am confident that Simon and his team will provide an ideal platform to bring the brand to new customers for Excel Boats.'
