Mummert & Company exclusively advises AHEIM Capital on the sale of Remy & Geiser

Munich, 26 October 2012 - Mummert & Company, an international and independent corporate finance advisor based in Munich, exclusively advised Aheim Capital funds, managed by Aheim Capital, on the sale of their 90% stake in Remy & Geiser Group to an Austrian entrepreneur.
The transaction was closed on 18 October 2012. The parties to the transaction have agreed to keep the consideration confidential.

Remy & Geiser is one of the leading system suppliers of primary packaging in the pharmaceutical industry, offering a broad range of packaging systems made of plastic, glass and elastomers. Aheim Capital funds acquired Remy & Geiser at the end of 2008 together with the current Managing Director Christoph Hanschke as part of a corporate succession arrangement. The company has been growing continuously over the past years and has increased its capacity and efficiency significantly by initiating an extensive investment programme after the acquisition by Aheim Capital funds. Remy & Geiser has c. 220 employees at three locations in Germany and generated a turnover of over 20 million Euro in 2011.

Because of his long-standing entrepreneurial experience and business relationships in the pharma industry, the new majority shareholder is an attractive partner for the innovative, long-established company. The strong market position of Remy & Geiser Group will be used as a long-term platform for further solid growth in Germany and abroad as well as for potentional acquisitions. It is intended that Mr. Hanschke increases his existing stake in the company subsequent to the transaction.
