The new Version V2.11 of Softing’s PROFIBUS Communication Device Type Manager PROFIdtm is now included in the device management software WI-Manager from Weidmüller. When PROFIBUS Master-Interfaces from Softing are used, Weidmüller´s FDT frame application offers direct access to PROFIBUS devices providing a DTM. The installation of additional Software or other steps are not necessary. Time and effort for configuration, operation and inspection of PROFIBUS field devices are thus significantly reduced.
