DSV breezes to new Fläkt Woods contract
DSV Road Limited has won a three year contract renewal for handling domestic and international road freight for air climate product provider Fläkt Woods UK.Using its dedicated vehicle fleet, DSV Road Limited will collect Fläkt Woods’ air technology products from its factory in Colchester and deliver to end users across Europe.
The deal is an extension to an existing three year contract.
Chris Malyon, Director of Sales & Marketing, DSV Road Limited, said: “We are pleased that a company such as Fläkt Woods, with demanding industrial and commercial customers, has decided to renew its contract with us.
"The three-year deal is a testament to the flexible, cost efficient and reliable services we are able to offer across our truly pan-European network.”
Fläkt Woods Global Sourcing Manager Martin Goreham said: “We renewed our contract with DSV because the last three years have been such a success.
“We are really impressed with DSV and the work they have done to understand our business needs. Not many companies could handle our diverse range of products and constantly changing delivery requirements.”
DSV Road Limited is the third largest transport company in Europe, with a wide range of dedicated, groupage and specialist services.
The Fläkt Woods Group has also recently signed contracts with DSV Road Limited covering its operation in Sweden, Finland and Norway.
Fläkt Woods UK Limited is a leading global supplier of energy-efficient air solutions. It provides energy-efficient indoor air climate products and solutions to supply people with clean, comfortable and fresh air in buildings and air movement products and services including fans for cooling systems for infrastructure.
