Beacon Infusion Opens New Infusion Location in Hackensack, NJ
Rapid growth and expanding patient base accelerate need for new locations

HACKENSACK, NJ JULY 17, 2020 – Beacon Infusion Healthcare Services, a pioneer in national freestanding infusion centers providing infusion and long-acting injectable care, announces the addition of a brand-new location to serve its growing patient base.

This is Beacon Infusion’s second location in New Jersey. Beacon opened its first location in Oceanport, New Jersey on the grounds of the former Fort Monmouth, in Monmouth County, in September 2019.

Beacon Infusion provides a premier outpatient ambulatory environment, allowing patients to obtain infusions and injections prescribed by their primary or specialist physician, delivered in a comfortable and accessible setting. Beacon Infusion works together with prescribing physicians in a cooperative manner to deliver integrated care. Beacon works with providers, under the direction of the ordering physician, helping patients obtain proper treatment in a safe and healthy environment.

Beacon Infusion ensures a seamless process by conducting benefits investigations, assisting with the prior authorization process, helping obtain the medications, enrolling patients in pharmaceutical and independent financial assistance programs, and scheduling patients for treatment. In addition, following each treatment, Beacon Infusion sends the ordering physician a copy of the infusion chart notes and the next scheduled treatment date, thereby allowing physicians to manage patient care. Beacon Infusion provides both buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy medication services.

Beacon Infusion works with all medical specialties, including addiction medicine, dermatology, gastroenterology, hematology, immunology, infectious disease, internal medicine, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, podiatry, psychiatry, pulmonology, rheumatology and more. Treatments include cutting-edge medications like Krystexxa, Nulojix, Tepezza and Vyepti, gold-standard medications such as Cimzia, Injectafer and Tysabri, and established medications such as antibiotics and IVIG.
