CIGNEX Datamatics authors its 5th book on Liferay -‘Liferay Beginner’s Guide’

‘Liferay Beginner’s Guide’ is the latest book, authored by CIGNEX Datamatics to help and act as a simple and comprehensive guide to develop a complete Liferay based portal. No prior knowledge of Liferay is required as this book uses step-by-step instructions to develop, implement, customize and induct post installation services using easy-to-use portlets of Liferay.
The 5th Liferay based book by CIGNEX Datamatics is authored by Robert Chen, Sandeep Nair, Samir Bhatt, Mahipalsinh Rana & Gaurav Barot who are senior Liferay consultants having a combined experience of implementing over 80 Liferay portals across industry verticals and geographies.
Liferay Beginner’s Guide starts with basic instruction modules and then details the configurtion and use of a MySQL Database. The book follows a systematic approach by creation of a fictional site to demonstrate every aspect of Liferay portal with practical examples, screenshots and step-by-step instructions. Readers will be able to learn how to customize the look and feel of portals, usage of themes, changing layouts, site URLs, creation and managing of communities and users within the site.
