Platinum Minds May Madness Fundraiser

CHESTER--April 5, 2020--On May 7, 2020 at 7:00 PM, Platinum Minds, a non-for-profit educational organization, is hosting a fundraising event to fund its programs for emerging leaders in urban, low-income areas. The health and safety of our community is of utmost importance. That's why, in light of COVID-19 and the current social distancing policies, Platinum Minds' annual fundraising event, May Madness, will be held as a digital event.

The impact of these extraordinary times will be felt most acutely in less affluent areas. Platinum Minds' mission is to empower motivated boys within these communities and support their educational and leadership development with programs ranging from mentorships to college prep courses. Donations from the fundraising event will help to maintain these core initiatives.

Platinum Minds is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, leadership development and academic enrichment organization which was founded in 2006 by Mrs. Yvette Long. Platinum Minds encompasses several programs to reach the needs of academically motivated boys from challenged communities in New Jersey. It provides them with life skills and educational resources. The Platinum Minds programs instill a sense of confidence, leadership, and integrity to boys in need.
