Kolmac Clinic to Open Office in Downtown Baltimore

The Kolmac Clinic is pleased to announce the October 24th opening of its new downtown Baltimore office. The office is located at One North Charles Street, Suite 602 in the Blaustein Building on the corner of Charles and Fayette Streets.

The Baltimore office will have an evening Intensive Outpatient Program running from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m., as well as Continuing Care groups at various times. Ambulatory detoxification will continue to be initiated in the Towson office, but medical follow up will be available in the Baltimore office. Our in-house psychiatric staff will be available to provide assessment and medication for co-morbid psychiatric conditions. A Family and Friends Group will be available to support those close to the patient.

The Baltimore office will be directed by Amy Waldron and Jim McGreevey. Amy is a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor with 15 years of experience. Jim is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with 8 years of experience treating addictions. Both have been with Kolmac since 2008. Psychiatric coverage will be provided by Dr. George Kolodner, who is our medical director and a board certified addiction psychiatrist.

The Kolmac Clinic is the oldest intensive outpatient facility in Maryland, having opened its first program in Silver Spring in 1973. Since then, we have treated over 15,000 patients in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. areas. Kolmac Clinic also has offices in Columbia and on the Sheppard Pratt campus in Towson.
