Ron Rosenhead, of Project Agency.

Project Agency, the project management training and development specialist, is hosting a one day version of its ‘Perfect Project’ Course in London on 15th November.

Over 14,000 delegates have successfully completed this training course since it began running in 1997 – on average, some 1,000 people each year.

Ron Rosenhead, Project Agency’s Chief Executive, commented: “In today’s busy world, clients are fighting for time: to get the work done, to train, to ‘deliver’ effectively. This one day event will help those who attend by giving a range of practical tools that will enable them to deliver more effectively in a shorter period of time.

“We’re running this highly practical course to help people understand the need for a consistent approach to project management within their organisation; use project management tools and tips to deliver projects effectively, and identify how to deal with common project management issues,” he said.

Intended for managers and team members of any project – especially for those who are new to project management – the concentrated course covers:
• A robust framework that helps develop project management skills and achieve success
• The business case – what it is and why it is so important
• Clarifying roles in the project
• Defining a project using a project initiation document
• Effectively identifying and managing both risks and stakeholders
• Developing a robust project plan
• Developing a realistic and practical monitoring process
• The role of learning in project management
• Closing a project

“Of course, delegates who want to continue to develop their project management skills after the course has ended can do so with Project Agency,” Rosenhead continued. “Among other things, we have a number of e-learning modules covering various aspects of project management, as well as a complete project management course delivered via e-learning.”

Rosenhead explained that course participants receive pre-course support. This support includes:
• Introduction to Project Management Course – a series of emails direct to the participant’s in-box giving information about project management
• A pre-course questionnaire
• A copy of Project Agency’s project management templates and tips booklet
• A copy of Project Agency’s White Paper, ‘From Ready-Fire-Aim to Ready-Aim-Fire’
