Acer Iconia Smart arriving in September
Press release from: themobileindian.com
(openPR) - The Acer Iconia Smart weighs only 185 grams and has 8 GB storage along with 512 MB RAM.
The Acer Iconia Smart, which runs on Android Gingerbread, is expected to hit the market in September. It has a comparatively bigger display and comes with Qualcomm manufactured 1 GHz Snapdragon processor.
Its display has an aspect ratio of 21:9 and is 4.8 inch in size. Other notable additions include 8 megapixel back facing camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera.
At the time when Acer Iconia Smart was announced, the specs held more weight but now many devices are coming with dual core processors. However, this device from Acer is large and has a single core processor only.
Acer was delaying this device for a long time and it appears the company has managed to get rid of its shyness over it. There are no clear cut answers why the device was delayed; according to some reports it was probably due to earthquake in Japan.
The Acer Iconia Smart weighs only 185 grams and has 8 GB storage along with 512 MB RAM. It will be first headed towards North America and there is no word about its India launch as yet.
