International Bachelor’s Psychology Programme in English
Starting in 2020, the Sigmund Freud University Berlin offers an International Bachelor’s Psychology Programme for students from abroad as well as students who already live in Germany who would like to study psychology in English.
Our programme
Our Bachelor’s Psychology Programme emphasizes a cultural and social scientific perspective on the human mind and behaviour. The curriculum integrates a multi-methodological, practically oriented and socially conscious approach to psychological knowledge and practice. Our approach to research and teaching has three focal points: Theory, practice, and personal growth.
International Orientation
Our international teaching staff and our curriculum promote a global and intercultural approach towards psychological phenomena. Every year, students of the Bachelor’s programme are taught together with students from other branches of the SFU in Vienna. Under support of our international office, students also have the opportunity to study abroad for one or more semesters at other branches of the SFU in Vienna, Linz, Paris, Milano or Ljubljana as well as other universities in Europe via ERASMUS.
Admission and Application
In contrast to most universities, the SFU Berlin does not select applicants solely based on their grades. Besides formal criteria, individual qualifications for joining the program are assessed in personal interviews.
