Karain Cave situated at the foothills of The Katran Mountains, 650 metres above sea level, consists of 3 large chambers. First one from the entrance side is divided into 3 sections and is the largest and widest cave. The most distant and deepest third cavern, used as an asylum and cemetery in the past is all the more outstanding and marvelous because of being fraught with stalactites and stalagmites. For the admirers of archaeological miracles wait countless niches and Greek inscriptions on the outside of cave to be investigated.
