They have signed a franchise agreement with Denis Byrd who is expected to launch the business with his wife, Christine, on July 1 of this year. Denis will be assisting businesses in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area gain new and loyal customers by combining the warmth of a community welcome with the benefits of digital technology.

A Pittsburgh native, Denis resides in Coraopolis with his wife and twin daughters. Despite spending the last eleven years in corporate sales, most recently with KOHLER Company, Denis is not a first-time entrepreneur. 15 years ago, he bought and renovated a 100-year old house, employed a staff of 12, and successfully launched Bella Christine Salon with his wife. Denis says it is that experience with the salon that inspired him to open his own Our Town franchise.

“I didn’t truly understand the value of marketing until my wife and I built our own business from scratch,” said Byrd. “Christine and I know how much of a struggle it can be to build brand awareness and customer loyalty so we are excited to make it easier for Pittsburgh companies to reach new customers. First impressions can’t be undervalued – it will be our job to make sure our partners put their best face forward when new families move to the area.
