DR. STEVE ELIAS FIRST IN THE UNITED STATES TO USE EVRF® DEVICE TREATMENT OF SMALL VEINS

(Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey- May 20, 2011) Steve Elias MD FACS FACPh, is the first in the United States to use the new minimally invasive technology, EVRF. This device treats patients with small spider veins and small varicose veins. Radiofrequency energy, similar to microwave, is transmitted into the abnormal veins with a microprobe through the skin. The energy helps to seal the abnormal veins which eventually dissolve and get absorbed. The procedure is done in office and takes about 15 minutes. Patients can resume all activities after treatment including exercise.
