“We have built an awesome tool to help people crowdfund their gifts, and what better gift is there than the gift of charity and goodness,” said Filipe Pedroso, Giftapart’s founder and CEO.

Contributors who donate funds, or Giftapart users, are invited to leave a comment and upload media. “What sets Giftapart apart is that donors’ can leave their feelings, personal messages, reflect on the cause, share stories, and even upload pictures or video that are linked to their specific contribution,” said Kevyn Jaremko, director of software development at Giftapart, “What a wonderful way to add to your gifting, and not only help with a donation of money but also an emotional story connecting people.” Pedroso added, “We will then provide the money and the shared stories to France, and the world. Giftapart’s unique platform gives people a way to connect and share, together.”
The donation page can be found using https://give.giftapart.com. Pedroso said, “We created a link just for this to bypass the commercial traffic and experience. Don’t get me wrong, we’d love for people to try Giftapart and learn more about us, but this event is really all about helping. Helping, sharing and giving is part of the Giftapart DNA, so it just made sense to us to help out.”
The Notre-Dame is an important historic, cultural and religious building. “My wife and I had the fortune of walking through this beautiful cathedral, sharing in prayer inside, and feeling the spiritual connection within those walls. It was very special to us, and my hope is that Giftapart can have some part in helping with the restoration so that future generations can also experience what we did,” stated Pedroso.
Giftapart launched its desktop version in December, and will be releasing iOS and Android versions within 30 days. Pedroso commented, “We’re doing our official launch event very soon, but when we saw this tragedy, we decided to act quickly and provide the tools we made to be used towards doing a really good thing. It’s what Giftapart is all about, sharing love and happiness, so we’re glad to help.”
