Browns Ladders aims to reduce injuries with nationwide on-site ladder and equipment inspections

Lancashire ladders company, Browns Ladders, is working to reduce ladder related injuries by offering On Site Ladder Inspections throughout Britain.

The health and safety inspections cover the inspection of all ladders and access equipment within the factory site, from extension ladders and step ladders to machine stairways, scaffold towers and work platforms.

Browns Ladders employees will come on site and make sure that all access equipment is inspected, tagged, coded, dated and registered.

If any items are found to be faulty, the company will offer to repair or replace the equipment with the least amount of interruption to work as possible.

Every product inspected - including step ladders, roof ladders and scaffold towers - will have a Next Inspection Date so they are regularly checked.

The inspections will be carried out at three, four or six month intervals. Up to 50 items will be inspected in one day.
