European Knowledge Award elects best further training for the first time Award Ceremony on 28 March 2011 in Berlin

The prize, donated by the European Academy for Taxes, Economics & Law, is endowed with a material asset of 10.000 Euro and will be given in equal parts to the winner in the categories “private company” and “public administration”. The Award ceremony will take place in the Estrel Hotel in Berlin on 28 March 2011.

Further training is a central element in the Lissabon-Agenda for growth and employment.
Knowledge and the impact that this have on innovation are important for companies and institutions in Europe. The support of education is crucial for engagement. Therefore further education offers are necessary for employees to increase their potential, improve performances and to exist in the complex working world based on knowledge.

The registration fee of 100 EUR will be donated completely to the Caritas project „Education gives Future”.
