Open to the public, the Subtleties of Character gallery reception is from 7 - 10pm on Friday, December 10th. Each artist will present a primary work in addition to 1-3 drawings to be shown in the project space. The exhibition will run until January 15th, 2011.
“Upon being asked to curate a show at WWA gallery,” Dan said of Subtleties of Character, “I immediately made a list of artists whose work contained unique personal visions that resonated for me. Often, the work is emotionally charged, soulful and ambiguous in narrative, but full of enough signifiers of meaning for me to derive my own meaning from the work.”
