IT, New Media & Software
Press release from: OPEN Business Club AG (XING)
(openPR) - Hamburg, February 6, 2007 - Starting immediately, the international networking platform XING (www.xing.com) will be represented by a Regional Manager in Hungary, reported by its operating company, OPEN Business Club AG. Success in the European market is essential for XING, and simultaneously drives the internationalization process of the company. The increased presence of XING in Hungary, as represented by Regional Manager Heinrich Ballhaus, shows how important this gate to the Balkans has already become. Alongside acquisition activities and supervising regional cooperation partners, Ballhaus will also organize professional networking events. The first large get-together is already scheduled for February 8 in Budapest.

The many Hungarian members already know the value of finding the right business partners more quickly on XING, throughout the whole world. There are also smaller business networks in Hungary. In particular, the multilingual focus of the platform has aided the success of XING in Hungary. Specifically, the following factors have played a role:

- The platform has been available in Hungarian since 2004, and
- With 15 other languages, XING allows residents of Hungary, widely considered to have a high standard of education, to gain access to the international business stage.

The ability to connect endless numbers of contacts, to exchange expertise, and to find new job assignments, new employees, jobs, clients, and ideas supports the local networking culture.
