2019 Australian Valentine’s Day Survey Launches

The second edition of a national study to better understand how Australian couples celebrate Valentine’s Day has just been launched.

Created by online gift store Brewquets, the 2019 Australian Valentine’s Day Survey will aim to better understand what Australian couples think of Valentine’s Day and how they will celebrate it.

The survey will build upon the 2017 version of the same study, which saw over 1,800 adults in a relationship take part.

Richard Kelsey, Director of Brewquets said one of the key themes of this year’s study is to better understand the role of online retail stores when it comes to Valentine’s Day.

“Over the last ten years there has been a significant change in how Australian’s purchase gifts. The results of the survey should give insight into the role online stores now play in helping couples celebrate this special day,” said Mr Kelsey.

In addition to understanding where consumers will be purchasing their gifts, the study will also be used to estimate the average amount couples spend on their partner for Valentine’s Day.

For those wanting to take part in the survey it takes just 3 minutes to complete. A prize of $350 to spend for Valentine’s Day is being offered as an incentive to encourage people to participate.
