Horse Racing Tipster To Remember Electrocusionist With Free Tips Day

09-15-2006 01:11 PM CET | Sports

Press release from: Jumpingjockey.com

Electrocusionist was a firm favourite of the JumpingJockey.com team and like the rest of the racing world and sports betting fans alike, the staff were deeply saddened when the superstar died.

The JumpingJockey.com team will be celebrating the achievements of Electrocusionist by making premium tips available for free on the 14th of October 2006.

The reason for this date is because Electrocusionist was scheduled to run in the Emirates Airline Champion Stakes (Group 1) race on 14th October at Newmarket. The JumpingJockey.com team felt that they could not think of a better way to honour Electrocusionist.

Tim Mehmet, director at JumpingJockey.com says: "What made Electrocusionist so special was obviously his class, a genuine world beater and secondly, he was a real warrior, you knew that this horse gave you everything, it was in his nature to want to run hard and fast and to be ahead of the other horses".

"One cant help and wonder if Electrocuionist was having problems when he went up against Hurricane Run and Hearts Cry, he was rumored to have had some issue on the day of the race, but his character and class was such that it took the likes of Hurricane Run to beat him narrowly, irrespective of how he felt on the day. When it came to betting on him, I personally did not mind whether I won or lost money because he was such a joy to watch".

Electrocusionist's short record includes the 'Dubai World Cup' for 2006 from a draw that was widely accepted as being impossible and from which no horse had ever won the Dubai World Cup, he had in his career 12 Runs, 8 wins and total earnings in prize money of £3,160,432.

His last run against Hurricane Run and Hearts Cry in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes was headlined by one sporting newspaper on the front page as being the stuff dreams are made of, he also faced the other horse widely regarded as the joint best horse in the world, Shirocco, in that encounter Shirocco won by a nose.

JumpingJockey.com will cover the entire race card at Newmarket on the 14th, racing fans can receive the tips for this event via email or by simply visiting their website (http://www.jumpingjockey.com) on the 14th to view the tips for the day.
