Daryl Thornton Joins Constellation as Developer Evangelist
RALEIGH, N.C. – July 10, 2018 –– Constellation Digital Partners, LLC is delighted to announce its new employee and Developer Evangelist, Daryl Thornton. In this role, Thornton will be responsible for engaging with more than 100 registered developers from Constellation’s credit union and fintech partners as they begin creating services and bringing them to life on the platform.Constellation is a one-of-a-kind open-development platform that allows credit unions to access a marketplace of financial services where they can choose which services to offer members through the platform. Thornton, an accomplished developer himself, will be leading the creation of demonstration projects and training videos to highlight just how easy it is to build services for the Constellation platform.
“I joined Constellation because spearheading the creation of an open marketplace for credit unions and fintech companies is something I knew I wanted to be a part of,” said Thornton. “Together, we will create useful, cutting-edge financial tools for credit union members everywhere, as a result of the infectious and innovative spirit that we’ll foster with every partnership.”
Thornton brings several years of experience in the technology industry to his new role with Constellation. Previously, he served as the tech lead, project lead and programmer analyst for Coastal Credit Union. Following that, he held management positions with two highly regarded Software as a Service (SaaS) companies.
“I always knew Daryl was going to do great things in his career ever since I first met him about 10 years ago,” said Kovacs. “He will play an integral part in helping us bring the Constellation platform to life by working closely with our developers to provide services that will directly impact credit union members. I can’t think of a better person for this role and we are grateful to have his expertise on the team.”
