ELAN Expands Headquarters With Move to New, Larger Corporate Offices In Lexington, Kentucky

New Space Accommodates Company’s Booming Business, While Providing State-of-the-Art Facility to Further Serve and Support Dealer Base

LEXINGTON, KY—ELAN Home Systems, the popular, leading manufacturer of award-winning Multi-Room audio/video and home control systems, is undergoing major expansion with the move of its corporate headquarters from 2428 Palumbo Dr. to 1300 New Circle Road in Lexington. The announcement was made by ELAN’s President and Chief Technology Officer Bob Farinelli.

Completed at the end of July 2006, the move represents ELAN’s continued rapid growth as well as the company’s dedication to developing, manufacturing, and bringing to market quality cutting-edge products and further serving the needs of their Dealers. The 43,500 sq. foot facility will accommodate ELAN’s current staff, as well as near term planned expansion, and provide management with a state-of-the-art digital infrastructure. As of August 2006, ELAN will have more than doubled its space and staff in just over three years.

The new space also includes a significantly larger, dedicated Headquarters Training Center, which is nearly double the size of the company’s existing Headquarters Training Facility. The new Headquarters Training Center will continue to offer ELAN Dealers and Installers on-site, hands-on training for all ELAN products, software, and installation further reflecting ELAN’s continuing effort to provide their Dealers with top-of-the-line training equipment and education to help constantly develop core strategies and techniques.

“We continue to make investments so that both the ELAN team and our Dealers can flourish. This move will ultimately result in greater efficiencies and support for our Dealers,” stated Mr. Farinelli. “As we experience phenomenal growth and increased revenue, and in order to keep up with the demand for our products, we need to be well prepared for even greater growth, and that’s what this move does for us and our customers.”

The new state-of-the-art headquarters will be home to ELAN’s more than 115 Lexington-based employees, providing them with the best in information technology and work space. A new, full-scale phone system will allow the ELAN team to further enhance communications with their Dealers, Representatives, Distributors and Partners. Additionally, a separate warehouse and repair center, located across the street at 2040 Creative Drive, Suite 100, will be utilized.
