BTD audits the most modern stadium in South America

Guadalajara / Zurich / Munich, August 28th, 2009. BTD International Consulting AG audits the new construction of the stadium of Chivas – Guadalajara, Mexico.

In Guadalajara, Mexico, a new multi functional arena is planned to be build, where home matches of “Chivas” as well as other events and congresses will take place. The opening is scheduled for June 2010 and the stadium is expected to have a capacity of 50.000 spectators.
The stadium uniqueness will lie in both the prominence of the football club, which will use this stadium as well as the phenomenal architecture which claims to be the most modern stadium in South America. Presently, local specialist companies are about to terminate the phase of the structural work and implement the technique for the stadium.

To specifically ensure that the technical facilities of the stadium meet the highest requirements, the most renowned football club within Mexico, Club Deportivo Guadalajara (“Chivas de Guadalajara”) has selected BTD International Consulting AG together with their cooperation partner Cisco B.V. for an initial audit.
The audit was performed by Johannes Lippert, CEO of BTD International Consulting AG, and Bernd Ingerling, Member of the Board from the BTD Group, during which the technical crafts as well as the planned usage during event operation have been examined. In the subsequent workshop, the responsible members of the club as well as representatives of the stadium management within the finance, marketing, technology and operations sectors have been presented the results of the audit before discussions took place.
