Corporate Emergency Respons Planning

Annuvia, a leader in the workplace safety training and corporate AED programs planning industry, acquires Active Health Solutions in a continued effort to create healthier, safer, communities.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Workplace safety training and corporate emergency response planning provider Annuvia has finalized its acquisition of Active Health Solutions, Incorporated, a leading provider of corporate wellness programs. This union establishes Annuvia as one of the largest health, safety, and corporate emergency response planning service providers in the nation.

"This acquisition is so exciting because the two companies truly complement each other -- in both the marketing and delivery of services,” states Micah Bongberg, VP of Business Development for Annuvia (http://www.annuvia.com). “Annuvia will be able to provide a greater depth of management skills and service to our existing customers. The main goal is prevention: Prevention of poor health and sickness through the use of wellness training, prevention of death through use of AED's, and prevention of devastating damages through emergency response training on the corporate level."

Active Health Solutions specializes in helping companies with 200+ employees decrease healthcare costs. This is done through the reengineering of workspace and business culture, to promote regular exercise and healthy eating habits. Wellness experts are assigned to each client to asses their current working environment and offer suggestions for change.

"Prevention and knowledge have the power to save lives. Our hope is that working with major organizations around the country will enable us to educate as many people as possible. When employees take control of their personal health and learn how to save the lives of others, they are better able to contribute to both the workplace environment, and the community as a whole," says Bongberg.

About Annuvia: Annuvia (http://www.annuvia.com) is one of the leading health, safety, emergency preparedness, and emergency response organizations in the United States. Annuvia works with a variety of clients across the Nation, ranging in size from Fortune 100s to government agencies and non-profit organizations to implement workplace wellness programs and corporate AED programs.
