MONTANA TUCKER JUDGES NUTS FOR MUTTS CHARITY DOG SHOW

Los Angeles, CA (May 23, 2008) Multi-talented singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer Montana Tucker is set to be a celebrity judge at the 7th annual Nuts for Mutts dog show on June 1, 2008.

Hosted by Kim Basinger, Nuts for Mutts is an annual dog show that celebrates the best of the mutt. It consists of a series of competitions that showcases common, but incredible dogs. The mixed breed dogs have the chance to strut their stuff in front of a panel of celebrity judges in categories such as “Fastest Mutt,” “Most Ear-resistible Ears,” and “Most Toy/Ball Crazy.” Each year Nuts for Mutts raises much needed funds for the charity New Leash on Life, which allows the organization to come one step closer to making Los Angeles a no-kill city.

“I am so excited to take part in this event. I have a true passion for dogs, it is for an amazing cause and it is so cool that the pups are finally getting their time in the limelight!” says Tucker.

Along with Montana Tucker, Allison Janney (The West Wing) is also confirmed to judge the competition. Some celebrity judges in the past have included: Eric Roberts (Heroes), Emily Deschanel (Bones), David Boreanaz (Bones), Molly Sims (Las Vegas), and Lisa Edelstein (House M.D.).
