Caribbean Association Of Virtual Assistants: Connecting Virtual Professionals With Business Owners Worldwide

Trinidad, WI , January 14, 2008 – The Caribbean Association of Virtual Assistants now offer a RFP center where business owners can submit a request for services and receive proposals from CAVA members.

Potential clients are guaranteed to receive proposals from some very qualified professionals in the Caribbean. Members of the association must undergo rigorous screening and provide proof of their qualifications. Members are also required to provide references and agree to uphold the standards of the virtual assistant industry.

The Caribbean Association of Virtual Assistants is committed to the satisfaction of its members and clients. In addition to the RFP center, the Caribbean Association of Virtual Assistants also feature a growing member directory and a resource center for both clients and virtual assistants, including a guide for hiring a virtual assistant.

“As the virtual industry continues to grow, it seems that everyone wants to become a virtual assistant. The result is that the industry continues to attract a few people who are not qualified to earn the title of virtual assistant. They are just looking to earn a quick buck without a commitment to the success of the clients that they sign on,” states Crystal Redhead-Gould, founder of CAVA. “At CAVA we have done the work to separate the professionals from those that are less than committed.”

The membership at CAVA currently feature virtual assistants in the Caribbean. The directory of members continues to expand as more and more seasoned professionals open their virtual doors. The main benefit of hiring a virtual assistant in the Caribbean is the ability to hire experienced professionals at affordable rates. In some cases up to 20-40% lower than those found in the US and Canada. Virtual assistants in the Caribbean can offer lower rates due to slightly lower cost of living.
