We are pleased to announce the opening of our newest data center at Lefdal Mine Datacenter in Norway. This step marks a significant milestone in our efforts to combine innovative technology solutions with sustainability. The Lefdal Mine Datacenter, known for its environmentally friendly infrastructure, provides the ideal location for our advanced data processing facilities.

Innovative rack design with the Gainfarm® KI 1201 server

An outstanding feature of our new site is the introduction of the first Gainfarm® KI 1201 servers implemented in the new V3 rack design. These servers are specifically designed to deliver maximum computing power with minimum energy consumption. The V3 rack design not only promotes efficiency and scalability, but also supports optimized air circulation, which in turn reduces the energy required for cooling.

Commitment to 97% renewable energy

One of our company's core objectives is to reduce the environmental footprint of our technological activities. In line with this goal, our data center in Norway is powered by 97% renewable energy, mainly from wind and hydropower. This sustainable energy source ensures that our services are not only efficient, but also environmentally friendly.

Advantages of being located in the European Economic Area

The Norway location also offers the strategic advantage of being located within the European Economic Area (EEA). This ensures compliance with strict data protection standards and offers our European customers the security of knowing that their data is processed and stored in compliance with all applicable EU regulations.

Outlook

The opening of our data center in Norway is just one part of our comprehensive strategy to provide leading technology solutions while minimizing our impact on the environment. We are proud to be at the forefront of sustainable technology development while providing the security and performance our customers expect.

We look forward to what we will achieve at this new site and are confident that it will enable us to continue to pursue and expand our goals for a more sustainable future.
