In March, the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art in Baku, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and art agency "artXchange Global", organized and hosted an exceptional cultural event, the Art Week of Lithuanian Artists, titled "Reimagining Memories". The week-long celebration offered a captivating exploration of Lithuania's rich artistic landscape and heritage. Curated by Ms. Ornela Ramasauskaite, an international art market expert and CEO of "artXchange Global", boasting 18 years of consulting experience and recognized as the "Leading Female Figure in Art Wealth Management" by the Wealth and Finance International Fund Awards 2023. Ornela is currently actively exploring the cultural and artistic potential of Azerbaijan.

"Reimagining Memories" delved deep into the intricate interplay between memory and identity, offering visitors a thought-provoking journey through Lithuania's historical past and contemporary perspectives. The week-long event attracted thousands of visitors, inviting them to contemplate how memories shape both collective and individual identities, through a rich array of engaging activities. From film screenings and literary readings to Jausmė musical performance, lectures, panel discussions, and a captivating visual art exhibition, presenting Solveiga Gutautė, Lukas Gecevičius and Ignas Maldus.

This event underscored the power of international collaboration and cultural exchange. Partnerships with the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Lithuania, Lithuanian Culture Council, Lithuanian Cinema Center, the Cinema studio "Just a Moment", and "Vernisažas", as well as the art agency "artXchange Global", exemplified a shared commitment to fostering appreciation for art and culture across borders. The Solveiga Gutautė intstallation "The Carpet of Contemporary Humanity" (2024), became part of the permanent collection of the Azerbaijan National Museum of art.
