Experience the 12th edition of the most relaxed festival of the year. The Sunshine Reggae Festival kicks off on June 16 and takes place at the ROESCHWOOG site in the beautiful STAEDLY Lake Park in Alsace, directly on the German-French border. It's easy to guess that the sunny name is part of the program, as the event, now in its 11th edition, is aptly named the "Sunshine Reggae Festival."

Everyone is welcome, and the eleventh edition is sure to be unforgettable.

French Reggae flair just across the border

ROESCHWOOG is located in the French Alsace, just across the border and only 40 kilometers from Karlsruhe and 35 kilometers from Strasbourg. Thus, the festival connects Alsace with southeastern Rhineland-Palatinate. The organizer, "Multi-Culturelle" - Association for the Promotion of Art and Culture - aims to emphasize the German-French friendship in the region. It's meant to be a familial festival, full of peace and harmony.

No less than 17 municipalities from Alsace in Rheinisches Land support the festival with great passion and under the energetic guidance of the former mayor of Wissembourg.

Festival in the green on beautiful grounds

On June 7 and 8, 2024, the festival grounds will offer everything to make the hearts of Reggae fans soar, but explicitly not only bringing joy to Reggae lovers. This year, we are proud to present an extraordinary program that brings together renowned international artists and local talents. Among the main acts, we are particularly excited to welcome the legendary OMAR PERRY, heir to a renowned musical lineage and a true icon of contemporary Reggae.

OMAR PERRY, son of the legendary Lee "Scratch" Perry, has infused his art with a unique imprint, nurtured by the legendary recording sessions at the Black Ark Studio and his collaborations with the greatest names in the Jamaican music scene. Jamaican food and culinary delights from around the world will also be offered. The grounds by the bathing lake offer space for relaxed camping and also a great beach and much more...

But the Sunshine Reggae Festival not only offers music, it's also an opportunity to discover emerging talents like Tony Nephtali from Lorraine, whose commitment and spirituality shine through in each of their captivating performances.

Beyond the music, the Sunshine Reggae Festival is a festive and familial meeting point that brings enthusiasts from all over Europe together. In addition to high-quality music, you can enjoy a variety of cultural and culinary activities in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Parking for cars included & Children enter for free

Parking for cars is included in the ticket price. Camping tickets should be purchased directly with the festival ticket due to limited availability.
